I went inside and found one of the 5 tables that were using chips, (most tables used cash) the chips said Golden Island Casino so I really am not sure what was going on here. I decided to go with the name on the front door as that was what was advertised around the casino and on the tables. Whatever casino it was I lost $46 playing baccarat.
The chip is light brown with 4 sets of 2 white edge inserts. There are 4 white diamonds around the centre inlay. The centre inlay is silver with a casino name (notice I said 'a' and not 'the') and logo on it. There is a bar code on the chip which seems silly with such a low denomination. The chip says cash on it 4 times just in case we were't sure what kind of chip it is.

Today's chip of the day is from the Venus Casino in Bavet, Cambodia. This was the newest and nicest looking of the casinos I had visited at this point in Bavet. The casino offered mostly tables using cash but luckily they did have 6 tables that used chips. The downside was that the minimum bet for the tables using cash was $30. I played 2 hands, won one and lost one which meant that I was down $2.50 (commission plus my chip). The pit boss lady seemed to think that I was odd since I only played 2 hands.
The chip is white and looks brand new to me. I assume that is because most of the players play with cash at Venus Casino. The chip has each of the suits around the centre inlay 3 times in baby blue. The centre inlay has an alternating blue/white border. The casino name, the logo (looks space related) and the denomination are in black. I am assuming that the foreign language is Chinese for Venus Casino.

I'm not sure if it is pronounced G-Win or Gwin as in Tony Gwynn the great Padres player, I personally have been calling it G-Win for no real reason other than I wanted to. Anyways at Gwin Casino I figured out the rolling chips a bit (not really). At Gwin Casino I bought $110 worth of rolling chips for $105. The $5 went to the chip runner, I don't really get the point but I'll take free money. I lost the free money and $47 more playing baccarat. I left when the shoe ended as I had many more stops to make.
The chip is much nicer than most of the Bavet chips. The chip is black with 2 large white inserts at the top and bottom of the chip. There are 5 white edge inserts on either side of the chip and they are angled. The top and bottom also have 5 stars each underneath the larger inserts. The centre inlay is silver and black with green shapes on the black portion. The casino name appears in rainbow pattern and the denomination is in black.
